Last night a taxi driver hit my car and I know what the cab driver looks like, but I don’t remember the cab. I’ve called all the cab companies and they say they dont have record of the street I live on. How is that possible? Who can I contact to find that driver? They left a hole in my bumper! =(

We are getting married this summer in Manhattan, and wanted to get one of those classic taxi cabs to take us to a few spots to take pictures. I’ve been having trouble finding a place that has these, but I know they exist. Anyone know where to find them?
I know there are 2 different courses for this test, the 24 hour and the 80 hour course. But the 80 hour cost $300.00 and the 24 hour cost $95.00. I don’t have a car so Ive never drive in New York before and they say the 80 hour course will make it easier for you to pass the test. But it can be that hard, is only streets and addresses, but again, Im not sure. Any suggestions from any former taxi drivers? How difficult is the test? And which course should I take, the 24 hour or the 80 hour?

I have to do a speech on something that is related to the UK and how it had an impact on that field. I’m very interested in cars, so I thought it’d be a good idea to do a speech on something i know and am interested in. So far, the only speech topic i thought of was the Impact the UK has had on the automotive industry, and i could go into different inventions that they have created in the autos to help us. I’m having A LOT of trouble. Any ideas?
I am seriously considering becoming a taxi cab driver, but I am concerned about safety. A buddy of mine drives a cab in San Francisco, and says, nah, it’s no big deal.
I know that’s not the whole story. Who has some good input for me?
Thank you.
In Deschutes county (Bend Oregon area) on June 12th, 2006 a major hail storm runined many cars. A friend of mine is getting his automotive insurance deductible paid by the national disaster act. The insurance he’s going through is Safeco, but for some reason my insurance agency ( Nationwide) knows nothing about this program paying for deductibles. So is there any web sites I can go to for information on how to get Nationwide to do the same thing Safeco car insurance is doing? I need help, I’m in the process of getting my car fixed and this deduction getting paid by a program would really help me out.

It is unique to Nürburgring and Hockenheimring that the Racetaxi drivers are Formula 1 drivers. The 5 best hot laps drivers from Friday’s practice session have been selected to be Racetaxi Drivers on Saturday. I’m going to Spain this July during the festival of San Fermin. I’m staying in San Sebastian and trying to find the cheapest transportation between the two cities. I’ll be with three others so I think splitting a taxi fare would be the cheapest. Can anyone tell me an average fare and the availability between these two cities?
What was the old school automotive paint they used to use called, I think it was a lead based paint and that is why they stopped using it. I’m pretty sure I remember it was sposed to have a deeper finish. Anybody know what I’m talking about? I can’t remember the type of paint or finish that was, or what it was called??
